The Darkglass Microtubes Infinity stacks up three Microtubes Series bass distortion pedals in one, granting access to the B3K, the Vintage, and the X. This exceptional stompbox even features a multiband compressor; the option to blend up impulse responses (IRs) with your selected distortion; and via the fitted USB-C port, you get to browse through the hundreds of cabinet simulations that line the shelves of the Darkglass IR Library via the Darkglass Suite desktop app. Basically, when they named this powerful chunk of an effect the Infinity, they meant it.

The Darkglass Microtubes Infinity: Easy Does It

While this Darkglass offering piles on the options, it's actually pretty easy to use. The touch-sensitive sliders are a treat, offering immediate access to a six-band equalizer with a range of -12dB to 12dB per band. The preamp section control pots are chunky and tactile, so you can accurately dial in the distortion amount with the Drive pot; balance the dry and effected signal with the Blend pot; and scroll through decades of classic bass sounds via the Tone·Era pot - where modes two and four toggle the much-loved Vintage Microtubes ERA control.
